I had two winches re-chromed. The pictures show the condition before and after the treatment. I think it really looks like new. We were absolutely thrilled when we opened the package. Even the rough surface where the rope touches has been preserved and finished in excellent condition. Price-wise, this is incomparable to replacing the winch, even if you find a good used one.

So far, I have had two bumper parts, headlight rings, and now a radiator grille chromed for my classic car. In all cases, the work was excellent. While it’s not cheap, the quality after processing is comparable to new parts (sometimes even better :-)) – and it’s worth it to me.
